Extra Innings of Sarasota will host its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Baseball and Softball Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 21 and 23-24.
The clinic, which is open to all athletes 13 and under, is $79 for members and $99 for non-members.
Throughout the clinic, players will learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball from former and current local professional baseball players, including Jason Miller, James Houser, Joe Terdoslavich, Lance Carter and Scooter Genett.
Former college softball coach Jeff Roberts and high school coach Mike Morgan, along with Brandi Neal, will lead the softball clinic.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
