ODA celebrates 2009 Homecoming

The pint-sized cheerleaders showed their Thunder spirit from the sidelines. -
Colleen McGrath and Alex Aberle were crowned this year's Homecoming queen and king. -
Carly Chapman, 5 months, was one of the youngest ODA fans to celebrate Homecoming this year. -
These ODA boys were ready for the big game. -
Emma Holland and Jansen Humphrey, both 13, made sure ODA fans had all the Thunder gear they needed for the game. -
Basia Sroka, Christy Steed and Samantha Shobe wore their school spirit all over their faces. -
The ODA cheerleaders performed a special halftime routine at the game.

Local Daisy Scouts from Troop 180 are helping Feeding Empty Little Tummies feed homeless school children in the area. -
Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
