After vacationing on Longboat Key in 2000, Scott Bolingbroke was determined to move to Florida. After immigrating to the United States in July 2002 with his wife, Pam, and children, Russell and Kristy, the family embraced a vision for their new recreational facility, Kids Supergym, in East County.

The gym, located at 7337 International Place, Lakewood Ranch, celebrated its 10th anniversary Sept. 3.

“We are very thankful to all the clients, many of them who have been with us for all of the 10 years,” Scott Bolingbroke said. “A 10-year party is in the works. It has been our pleasure to be part of the growth and success of Lakewood Ranch.”

“Our focus has always been to provide a strong recreational program,” he said. “We enjoy watching young athletes progress in our recreational programs.”

Kids Supergym, also has opened a second company, Orange Athletic Products, which sells gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline equipment.
