Ava Marie Gavia was born to Bradenton residents Antonio Gavia and Kelly Svec at 11:27 a.m. Nov. 13. She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19-and-three-quarter-inches long.
Cash W. Wineka was born to Riverwalk Meadows residents Brent and Charlene Wineka at 4 p.m. Dec. 11. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long. Proud brother is Hunter.
Ryan Alphonso Cotton III was born to Palmetto residents Ryan Cotton and Amanda Morris on Dec. 22. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. Proud siblings are Rynia, Ryan Jr., Shanezia, Ryana, Zariya and Ryan II.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
