5000 block of 72nd Street E. Petit theft ($100-$300). The complainant reported a theft from her yard. Unknown person(s) took two hammocks, which were hanging from a tree in her front yard.

15500 block of Lemon Fish Drive. Burglary to a vehicle. Unknown person(s) entered into the victim's vehicle and removed a zippered pouch from a pocket on the driver's side door. The pouch contained about $12 in quarters and numerous identification type cards.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
