9:45 a.m. — 3100 block of 38th Terrace East. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. The victim came home from dropping her husband off at work and noticed her bedroom light was on. She then noticed her laptop computer was missing and her 50-inch television was on the back pool deck. The back door to the residence was pried open, and the screen on the pool door had been cut.
8:14 a.m. — 9600 block of West Country Club Drive North. Criminal mischief. Four outside lights at the location were damaged and wires from the air conditioner were cut. A window that leads to the bathroom inside the home also was broken.
1:01 p.m. — 4500 block of Shark Drive. Information. On Sept. 14, a neighbor saw that the window of the victim’s Jeep had been broken. It was assumed that it was a burglary of criminal mischief. Upon investigation, nothing inside the vehicle was taken, moved or further damaged. The doors were all still locked. There was a small landscape stone that was broken in half lying by the vehicle. Someone from the lawn crew possibly caused the damage when lawn equipment shot the rock across the roadway.
3:45 a.m. — 3500 block of 30th Lane East. Grand theft auto. Unknown person(s) took the victim’s Jeep while it was parked in the driveway of her residence.
11:32 a.m. — 7900 block of Whitebridge Glen. Neighbor problem. The victim was driving in his neighborhood and a Jeep pulled out of a neighbor’s driveway in front of him. He attempted to go around, and the other driver did the same thing at the same time. Both parties began to scream at each other. The other subject was pressure-washing at the home. Both parties had the same complaint about the other. Both vowed to stay away from each other.
9:10 a.m. — Interstate 75 off-ramp at University Parkway. Battery. The victim was exiting I-75 at University Parkway and stopped at the red light. Her baby was in the car seat in the rear and she exited her car to tend to the infant. A woman driving a brownish-gold minivan behind her at the light began inching her vehicle closer to the victim and clearly was agitated and yelling profanities at her. The victim walked over to her to ask her what the problem was and the woman hit the victim in the chest, leaving a scratch from a fingernail on the victim’s neck and upper chest. The victim followed the suspect to the Home Depot parking lot, where she got the tag number of the vehicle and called 911 to report the incident.
