3:55 a.m. — 3800 block of Oak Grove Drive. Burglary to an occupied residence. An unknown suspect entered the residence by unknown means. 1:30 p.m. — 8500 block of 53rd Avenue East. Alleged battery. The complainant had six teeth extracted. When he awoke from anesthesia, he started walking to the waiting room and bracing himself with the wall. The dentist called to check on him around 10:30 p.m., and the complainant complained about the hands on him. The dentist said he could do that in his office. The complainant insists he denied help and he had no right. The responding deputy observed no intent or injury on the surface. The complainant stated there were two nurses present, and he wants to press charges.
1:45 p.m. — 2911 53rd Ave. E. (Walmart). Retail theft. The defendant was observed in the infant department, where she selected several items along with a diaper bag from the sales fixtures. She then went to the shoe department, where she selected more items and then concealed them in the diaper bag. The defendant then proceeded to the front of the store and to the checkout registers. She purchased some of the items but failed to pay for the concealed items or the diaper bag. Once the sale was complete, she exited the store with the unpaid merchandise. She was then stopped by store security and escorted back into the store without incident. The total amount of the stolen merchandise, which was recovered and returned to the store, was $124.07.
