11:57 a.m. — 8750 State Road 70 East (Sweetbay). Attempted theft. Managers from the supermarket reported that one white male entered, selected a shopping cart and filled it with 14 king crab leg clusters, pork ribs and other items. The suspect then left the store and spoke with a white male suspect waiting in a late 80s Ford Taurus station wagon (no tag). The first suspect then returned to the store, grabbed the shopping cart and pushed it out the front door. An employee followed the suspect and grabbed the cart, while the suspect jumped into the car and sped away. The value of the attempted theft was $465.34.
