Wrecking crew
3:30 a.m. — 12600 block of Mobley Pond Lane. Aggravated domestic assault and felony criminal mischief. The suspect drove a front loader to the residence. When he arrived, he used the front loader, which was equipped with three large solid spikes, to pick up the vehicle. The suspect began to drive away with the vehicle still attached to the spikes. The victim observed his car about 15 feet in the air. As he approached the end of the drive, the suspect dropped the vehicle on its roof and drove off in the front loader.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
