The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
7 p.m. — 1100 block of Cane Mill Lane. Information. The complainant and the subject both live in Greenfield Plantation. The subject also has a 12-year-old son. The complainant has had several unfortunate things happen to her in recent months, including having one of her windows shot with what appears to be a pellet gun. Through neighborhood gossip, she said she believes the subject’s son may have had something to do with it. The complainant went to the subject’s residence and explained her dismay. The complainant was described as being upset and made several accusations about the subject’s son. The two responding deputies spoke with both parties, including the subject’s son. The complainant later apologized.
12:59 p.m. — 8200 block of 60th Street Circle E. Baker Act. The subject told a roommate she had just taken the rest of her newly prescribed pills and that “she was done.” She collapsed and her roommate called 911. The subject had made statements in the past about suicide. A Baker Act was initiated. She was transported to the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. There were 112 pills that were missing.

While one defendant pushed the cart full of concealed groceries, the other defendant selected two drinks from the coolers near the registers. Both defendants exited past all points of purchase without rendering payment for any of the items. The defendants were then stopped by Walmart loss prevention. Both defendants were arrested and transported to the juvenile booking facility without incident.
5:15 p.m. — 3600 block of 67th Terrace E. Animal bite. The victim was attempting to help the dog’s owner secure it after it ran outside when the front door was open. During the attempt, the dog, a mixed-breed female, bit the victim on his right calf. The bite didn’t break the skin, and the victim’s parents treated him. The animal division responded and completed a report as well. The dog’s owner provided shot records and stated the dog ran out the front door when her son-in-law opened the door.
