Tasty Truancy
4 p.m. — 8500 block of Linger Lodge Road. Juvenile problem. Five juveniles threw plastic Ziploc baggies containing ketchup, mustard and syrup at a moving Manatee County School District bus. The baggies hit the windshield, obstructing the driver’s view. There were 33 middle school passengers on the bus. The driver slammed on his brakes, leaving skid marks. The juveniles were caught, and their parents responded. The juveniles who threw the baggies cleaned the mess they caused. There was no damage to the bus.
