8:37 a.m. — 8200 block of Quails Green Terrace. Information. The complainant found the vacant home next to his residence unsecured. The home is in foreclosure and has been vacant for two-and-one-half years. The responding deputy checked the interior of the home and did not see any signs of obvious criminal mischief or theft, and it appears that the home is vacant. Entry was made into the home via a small cut in the screen porch door by the handle. The complainant told the deputy there had been a padlock on the screen door that is no longer there. Because the home is in foreclosure, the deputy wasn’t able to make contact with the owner of the home.
Noon — 604 67th St. Circle E. (McDonald’s). Found property. The complainant stated a customer left his credit card on the counter after ordering. The credit card was placed into property and evidence at the Operations Center for safekeeping.
5 p.m. — 400 block of Cypress Creek Boulevard. Criminal mischief ($1,000+). The complainant reported unknown person(s) vandalized equipment on his work site by throwing rocks through the windows of some of his equipment. A case number was issued.
11 p.m. — 2113 Morgan Johnson Road (Bible Baptist Church). Burglary to an occupied structure. Unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into the church by smashing out a small window on a side fire exit door located on the south side of the church. A cleaning person was inside the church at the time. Entry was never gained and the person(s) fled in an unknown direction by unknown means.
Reported May 25
5:22 p.m. — 4300 block of Drake Boulevard E. (bus stop). Information. The complainant requested it be documented that her son was threatened on May 12 at the bus stop by a black male, who claimed he was an undisclosed person’s brother. The unknown male stated, “I’m not saying I’m going to do it, but if you touch my brother again, something bad is going to happen to you.” The male suspect then left the area in a black Ford Expedition. The complainant stated her son is afraid the suspect may harm him.
7:55 p.m. — 5500 block of 41st Street E. Burglary to an unoccupied dwelling. While the complainants were away cleaning Dr. Zamicoff’s office, an unknown person went into their house and stole several items. One of the complainants stated she believes a juvenile who lives across the street committed the crime.
