The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
BARRINGTON RIDGE
March 19
12:30 a.m. — 4100 block of 61st Avenue E. Criminal mischief. Unknown person(s) took what appears to be a BB gun and shot holes in the rear window of the complainant’s vehicle. There were several other vehicles damaged in the surrounding area.
CYPRESS STRAND
March 17
7 p.m. — 6300 block of Bay Cedar Lane. Disorderly conduct. The deputy responded in reference to an older male who had been making inappropriate comments to three minor females while they were playing volleyball in the street. The deputy spoke with the three females, who supplied affidavits on what happened. He then spoke to the suspect and obtained his account of the incident. A capias request was submitted for the suspect for disorderly conduct.
LAKEWOOD RANCH
March 17
9:30 p.m. — The intersection of Pope Road and Center Ice Parkway. Possession of marijuana. The responding deputy conducted an investigatory traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. During the traffic stop, he could smell the odor of marijuana. The driver admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and handed the deputy a bag of marijuana and a glass pipe, which also contained marijuana. The driver was arrested and transported to the Manatee County Jail. The owner of the vehicle responded and took possession of the vehicle. The marijuana and pipe were both entered into property and evidence.
MANATEE OAKS
March 19
11:30 a.m. — 4900 block of 32nd Street E. Burglary. Unknown person(s) entered the residence through the door on the side of the garage. The door was open when the victim returned home. The person(s) left the area with several items.
RIVER POINT
March 16
10:30 p.m. — 200 block of 36th Street N.E. Found property (marijuana). The complainant was walking his dog, and when he arrived back at his residence, he noticed a plastic bag by the driveway. He picked up the bag and noticed it had marijuana and drug paraphernalia in it. The complainant then called the police. The items were placed into property and evidence for destruction.
STONE CREEK
Reported March 16
12 p.m. — 2800 block of 36th Avenue E. Vehicle burglary. The victim reported the suspect sent him a text message stating she was going to cut up all of the clothing in his car. She sent him another message later on stating again he was going to have to buy all new stuff. The victim then found all of the clothing in his card had been cut up.
OTHER
Reported March 17
5:15 p.m. — 2500 block of 27th Street E. Cyber stalking. The complainant reported the suspect has continuously cyber stalked the business. The suspect was told via his attorney to cease all contact with it.
