'Studio 13: The Undead Disco'
Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida held its annual Safe Sex Halloween Bash Friday, Oct. 28, at Michael’s On East. Andy Warhol, aka Eduardo Anaya, chaired this year's event, which was themed “Studio 12: The Undead Disco.”
The ballroom was transformed into the perfect Halloween house, filled with fog, skulls and spider webs. DJ Imminent kept the party going on the dance floor and Black Diamond Burlesque provided entertainment for the evening.
Guests were not shy to dress according to the theme — the entire ballroom was rocking with glamorously gory 70’s disco characters.
CANDance 'Dancing with Our Stars'
Michael's On East was also the site for the following night's CANDance "Dancing with our Stars" event. Chaired by Jackie Rogers and Penny Hill, the dancing portion of the evening featured performers LeeAnne Swor and Sid Pocius, Will MccComb and Sabrina Paxman, Cinde Carroll and Max Lotofskyy, Ramses Serrano and Ivana Varga, Wendy Feinstein and Luis Pena, Dr. John Fezza and Marina Gando and Eve Caballero and Dwayne Barrett.
The trophy went to Wendy Feinstein and Eve Caballero won the award for most money raised. See this week's Black Tie section for more coverage of CANDance.
