The Manatee Players kept their season opener a secret until April 1, but this is no fools joke. Thanks to the film reproduction and box-office hit “Les Miserables,” the 1980 musical adaptation has come to the forefront of America’s mind — and at the forefront of Manatee Players season.
Manatee Players announced in a press release that the popular musical would open the 2013-2014 season.
It will be the first full season in the newly constructed venue, “The Manatee Performing Arts Center.” Individual tickets will go on sale in July.
Other productions in the season include “Grease,” “Always Patsy Cline,” “Young Frankenstein,” “Shrek the Musical,” and more. For more information visit manateeplayers.com.
