‘Herb Ritts: L.A. Style’ features timeless photographs of fashion, celebrities, and nudes. Ritts, the late famed photographer, created in the 1980s and 1990s what is known as L.A. Style — shooting in natural light in locations around Los Angeles. He shot fashion photography from a fine-art perspective and set the precedent for what commercial photography would become.

Paul Getty Museum taking about the collection and his decision making process behind it. It starts at 10:30 a.m. in The Historic Asolo Theater, 5401 Bay Shore Road. Tickets $5. Call 360-7399.
