Palm Avenue Fine Art, 10 South Palm Ave., opened a new exhibit this week — American Masters 2013 Invitational Show. The exhibit features living American artists such as Duffy Sheridan, Paul Oxborough, Ron Hicks, Max Ginsburg, Joseph McGurl and many more.
There’s an opening reception for the exhibit 6 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the gallery. Live music, wine and hors d’oeuvres will entertain guests.
This weekend gallery visitors are invited to select their favorite work for a “People’s Choice Award.” The winning artist will receive a $5,000 cash prize. The votes will be tallied and a winner will be announced Monday, March 25.
If you can’t make it tonight, the exhibit hangs through April 4. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and by appointment on Sunday and Monday.
