Children at Primrose School of Lakewood Ranch brought some of the world's cultures to the East County during the annual Celebrating Cultures event Sept. 30. Each class studied a different culture, created authentic costumes and sang "It's a Small World" â€” much to the delight of parents and family members.
Golf enthusiasts turned out Sept. 24 to University Park Country Club for the third annual Gullett Golf Challenge benefiting Gullett Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization. Last year's event raised more than $34,000 for computers and other equipment for the school.
