Manatee Community College kicked-off its 50th Anniversary celebration at a Press and Sponsor Party on Thursday, Dec. 7, at the home of John and Tana Sandefur. MCC is hosting "The Golden Anniversary Gala" on Saturday, Jan. 27, at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. Co-Chairwoman Jennifer Saslaw (Her counterpart, Chris Pfahler was off skiing in Colorado with her family.) announced that they have raised $300,000 in sponsorships prior to the invitations even hitting the mail. The Sandefurs were the hosts with the mosts as usual providing libations, good eats and entertainment from MCC carolers. |
