Class takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays April 5 through May 17. There will be no class April 19. This six week introductory course in stone carving requires few tools and little physical strength because the learning material is Aerated Concrete: a soft, light but firm weight-bearing material. The focus of the course will be on the techniques and aesthetics of carving. The objective of the course is to provide participants with forms that are emotionally satisfying and visually rewarding. A tool list is provided on registration. The instructor has Aerated Concrete for sale.
