The Jazz Club of Sarasota's "Jazz at Two" concert series continues at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, with Skip Conkling's Dixie Mix. The performance features Skip Conkling on drums, Joe Bruno on trumpet, Keith Carman on piano, Bill Carmichael on clarinet, Fred Dinse on tuba and Mike Evans on banjo. The series, which was founded in 2001, showcases the region's top jazz performers from 2 to 4 p.m. Fridays, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota, 3975 Fruitville Road, Sarasota. A portion of ticket sales is directed to the Jazz Club's scholarship program.
