The Sarasota Fine Art Festival debuts January 19-20, 2013 on Gulfstream Avenue in beautiful downtown Sarasota, FL. Graciously hosted by the Humane Society of Sarasota, this unique art festival showcases nationally- and internationally-renowned artists from across the U.S. and overseas. Walk amidst a garden of exquisite fine art, including creations in painting, jewelry, sculpting, photography, woodworking, ceramics, glass, fiber art, mixed-media - and more. Each piece is an original creation by a master artisan. Discover that singular piece of artwork to enrich your home, your workplace – most importantly, your life! Meet and interact with each talented artisan. Artists are available Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday from 11-5. The event is held downtown on Gulfstream Avenue between Cocoanut Ave and McAnsh Square. Admission is free. The Humane Society of Sarasota will be onsite with their “Big Mac” mobile adoption center each day. Come say “hi” to the staff and meet their extended ‘family’ of friends awaiting adoption. Perhaps make a new friend and lend what support you can to a wonderful organization.
