Experimental Painting class with Jill Hoffman-Kowal will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday Jan. 10 to Feb. 14, at Art Center Sarasota. This class is a wonderful opportunity to explore and experiment with new materials and ideas, including acrylics, oil pastels, mediums, various papers and anything else you can imagine and create. The class will explore mixing colors, making textural paints and using materials that may be new to you, including cardboard, papers or found objects.
