Friends of the Selby Public Library will host a fundraiser to benefit the library, Looking into the Crystal Ball, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Selby Public Library. More than two dozen local restaurants and food vendors will offer bites of their specialties. Enjoy 20 continuous performances by entertainers such as Jimmy Mazz, returning from his smash show in Las Vegas, and the Fred Astaire Ballroom Dancers, belly dancers, and other specialty acts. The party will also feature art, author and wellness exhibits, intuitive readers and palm-readers. Cash bars available. Tickets are on sale now inside the Selby Library Friends Bookstore, open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
