I love awards shows. Oscars. Emmys. Grammys. CMAs. AMAs. SAG Awards. and the Tonys (my absolute favorite).
Maybe it's the fashion (best and worst). Maybe it's the performances. Or the possibility of absolute brilliance (or failure) in an acceptance speech.
If you caught the Emmy Awards last night, you may have noticed some of the stars' beautiful gowns, designer-duds, glam hairstyles and va-va-voom makeup looks. But, as Annie said in the 1982 musical (remember my love of the Tonys?), "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile." These stars all had the finishing touch!

And remember, "a smile is a facelift that's in everyone's price range." (Tom Wilson) Well said, huh?
