Monday Inspiration: Rain, rain, go away. Or not.

« back to blog main pageI don't know how it is in your neck of the woods, but, it's been light drizzle and slight winds for a couple days now... but no real sign of "storm" or "hurricane."
That's okay with me, but I'm starting to wonder what all the hub-bub is about.
Either way, I'm one of those people who is fascinated by weather. Maybe it was growing up in the midwest and the release of the movie "Twister," but I was dying to be a storm-chaser. When Tropical Storm Debby hit the area in June, I was the one running to the bay to snap pictures of the flooding, gawking at the "shipwrecked" boats near Island Park, and standing in the Gulf down at the Venice Island Pier just to get the perfect wavy-splashy image.
For your Monday Design Inspiration, I thought, what better way to celebrate a little splish-splash coming our way than the beauty of rain itself?

Later this afternoon, we'll bring you the perfect recipe for a Hurricane cocktail. See? It's not so bad to hunker down and get cozy.
