Celebrate the sounds of 36 gifted music students under the direction of world-renowned violinist and conductor Itzhak Perlman at The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast’s Celebration Concert at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota. Tickets for the concert are $40, $60 or $80, and can be reserved at Sarasota Opera House’s box office at 366-8450, Ext. 1, or online at PMPSuncoast.org. Student and teacher rush tickets are available for $10 and offered on a first-come basis an hour before the concert at the Opera House with a valid ID. The Perlman and Pearls gala, immediately following the concert, celebrates the culmination of this inspired program with the Perlmans, their faculty, students and PMP/Suncoast sponsors.
