The performance will be preceded by a pre-performance talk and catered lunch in the mezzanine of the theatre. Arts Alliance pitches utility box paintings
After hearing a proposal from the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, the city could approve a project that would place artwork on utility boxes.

East County student's short film wins at Miami film festival
A short film written and directed by Braden River High student Carrie Dutting, "Alike" won first place at the Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival shorts competition, held Jan. 23 and Jan. 24. Dutting also won the Young Prodigy Award.
