Longboat Key Commissioner Phillip Younger was discharged from Sarasota Memorial Hospital over the weekend and is now resting and recovering from an illness at home. Although he will not attend the Monday, March 5 commission meeting, Younger will return to the commission “in due time,” according to his wife, Fanny.
Younger was appointed to the commission in 2010 and holds one of two at-large seats.
