Woman charged for biting victim's ear

An argument between two women about a phone turned violent Wednesday, June 26, in Fredd Atkins Park, and ended with a severly bitten ear.

The Sarasota Police Department charged 31-year-old Kesha Taylor with aggravated battery for allegedly biting the ear of Linda Watkins during a scuffle on the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard. Taylor claimed Watkins struck her in the mouth and bit her nose, which initiated the fight, according to the incident report.

Police also charged Watkins with battery.
