Frustrated by problems with their homes, residents of the Willowbrook community today will plead their case before the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners.

Residents plan to attend the commissioner's regular meeting today, which starts at 9 a.m. at 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, to express their concerns with the construction of their homes and to ask for help holding the builder, KB Home, accountable.

"KB Home put us in this danger both physically and financially and we want to be made whole once again," Willowbrook homeowner Armando Oyola-Delgado said. "They can do that by buying us back."
Residents likely will speak during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Agenda items being considered today by the board include:  a resolution to amend fire district lease agreements, appointments to the Animal Services Advisory Board and other items.
