Willis teachers get 'silly'

Fourth-grade teachers at Willis Elementary School got "all tied up" March 8, as their students sprayed them head to toe with Silly String.

The special event came about after the teachers auctioned off a chance to “Silly String” each other during the school’s recent Denim & Diamonds fundraising event.

“After the kids silly strung the teachers, we pulled out our own cans from our back pockets and got the crowd,” fourth-grade teacher Emily Ross says. “The students were going crazy and definitely enjoyed being ‘attached’ with Silly String.”
