WEEKEND BEST BET: Sarasota Open closing weekend

And then there were eight. Following six days of competition in the Sarasota Open, the cream of the crop remains, including three U.S. players: Alex Kuznetsov, Steve Johnson and Wayne Odesnik.

This weekend also brings the semifinals of the inaugural Nick Bollettieri Sarasota Women’s Open, with IMG student, Dasha Sharapova, hitting the court around 4 p.m. Friday, April 19.
