WEEKEND BEST BET: Music on Main

Good By Eddie will bring its classic rock sound to Lakewood Ranch for Music on Main.

The concert will be from 6-9 p.m., Jan. 7, on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Beer, wine and food sales will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships with measurable impact. Last year, the organization served 1,700 children between the ages of 6-18.

This month, attendees can enjoy a variety of other activities near the fountain, including a visit from the balloon twister, face painting, Aggie Originals’ caricature art and Bounce U.

Guests are welcome to bring chairs, but please leave coolers at home. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash. Overflow parking is available at the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
