WEEKEND BEST BET: Music on Main

Merchants on Lakewood Ranch Main Street are busy preparing for tonight's Music on Main concert.

The free concert, held the first Friday of each month, will feature live music by Goodbyeddie, food and beer for purchase, activities for children and other festivities.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Overflow parking is available across the street, at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.

Proceeds from tonight's concert benefit Junior Achievement.
