Attendees can taste more than 80 craft beers at the Beertopia festival Saturday, Jan. 18.
From 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing there will be 80 beer vendors, food from nearly a dozen local restaurants and a silent auction.
Tickets are $50 in advance, or $60 at the door.
The event is put on by the Eye Center, Inc. Vision Foundation and the Hernando De Soto Historical Society.
Most of the money raised will go to a foundation set up through the Eye Center to provide free eye exams and eyeglasses to Manatee County school children.
