Ringling Underground, a monthly series of live music and experimental art, returns to the Ringling Museum of Art courtyard. Kicking off this year's season is Tomboi, a Jacksonville guitar-and-synth-driven electronica trio; Soapbox Soliloquy And The Nimbus Initiative, a psychedelic act from St. Petersburg; and local jangly indie-pop band Cassolette. Sisterhood For Good Comedy Fundraiser

The Players Centre for Performing Arts opens its 87th season with this 1948 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by Tennessee Williams. Set immediately after World War II, the play follows a destitute woman named Blanche DuBois on her travels from to live with her younger sister and brother-in-law. Runs through Sept. 11.
