Voter deadline approaches

There are only 10 days left to register to vote for the town’s March 15 election.

Residents must be registered to vote by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, to participate in the town’s March 15 general municipal election.

Those living in Manatee County must register with the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Office, 741-3823. Those living in Sarasota County must register with the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Office, 861-8600.

Longboat Key voters will have two referendum ballot questions regarding a $16 million beach project and a town charter amendment regarding term limits.
