VIDEO: Gang member arrested for New Dynasty beating

A gang member threw the punch that put New Dynasty restaurant Manager Taian "Andrew" Tian in the hospital July 14.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested 20-year-old Juan De Dios Rodriguez July 23, on manslaughter charges less than a week after Tian died from his injuries. The arrest came after interviews were conducted with two men who accompanied Rodriguez during a dine-and-dash of their $35 bill.

During a news conference this morning, Sheriff Tom Knight called the crime a "senseless tragedy" and said Rodriguez would be held responsible for his actions.
