Vehicles burglarized in Gates Creek

Five vehicles in the Gates Creek community were burglarized last night.

A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report states vehicles in the 300 block of 112th Street East, 11000 block of Third Avenue East and 11000 block of Second Avenue East were burglarized last night.

All vehicles had their windows broken out and only electronic items were taken. Dash-stereos were taken from three vehicles, while a laptop computer was taken from another. One vehicle reported no missing items.

A deputy checked the area around 2 a.m. and noticed nothing suspicious, the report states.
