University Park Country Club home sells for $1.17M

The following residential real estate transactions took place between May 2-6.

A home in the Chelsea subdivision of University Park Country Club tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Paulette and Christopher Ayres sold their home at 7328 Chelsea Court to W. Mark and Cynthia McKoy, Bradenton, for $1.17 million. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,009 square feet of living area.

Lake Club
Marcos Behar and Joseph and Susan Brielmann sold their home at 16318 Foremast Place to Travis and Rebecca Bouck, Lakewood Ranch, $1.156 million. Built in 2009, it has five bedrooms, four baths and two half-baths, a pool and 6,068 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,755,500 in 2006.

Country Club of Lakewood Ranch
Edmund and Susan Vallecorse, Sarasota, sold their home at 13710 Oasis Terrace to Ronald and Janice Steger of Newport Beach, Calif., for $810,000. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, three-and-one-half baths, a pool and 3,683 square feet of living area.

Ron and Susan Altman, Sarasota, sold their home at 7471 Edenmore St. to Susan Wiseman, trustee, Indianapolis, for $429,900. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,186 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,000 in 2007.

Arlene Tallman, trustee, University Park, sold the home at 7008 Stanhope Place to Peter and Marjorie Cook, University Park, for $610,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,089 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $632,300 in 2003.

St. James Park
Carolyn Duddingston, trustee, and Charles Duddingston of Eagan, Minn., sold their home at 8115 Fairhaven Glen to Lawrence and Ruth Mendius, trustees, of Oak Brook, Ill., for $486,500. Built in 1993, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,909 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2004.
