Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority Board members will interview two candidates in their quest to find a new executive director for Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.

During a meeting today, supervisors narrowed a pool of 34 applicants to two finalists: Longboat Key Assistant Town Manager Anne Ross and Highlands County Assistant County Administrator Randal Vosburg.

Supervisors said one candidate, on paper, “shoots high above the rest,” referencing Ross, an East County resident who has served on Longboat since 2004 in various roles. Vosberg also had good strategic planning experience, but did not seem to have as much management experience as Ross.

Supervisors will host a meet-and-greet with candidates from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 7 at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.  A public interview and discussion will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 8, at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.
