Two-bedroom Beach Residences unit sells for $2.5 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Jan. 5 and Jan. 9.

A condominium in The Beach Residences tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Joseph McCue, of Hingham, Mass., sold his Unit 1107 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to William and Amy Reik, of Sarasota, for $2.5 million. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 3,057 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,299,000 in 2005.

Country Club Shores
Laurent and Hillary Garnier, of Croissy-Sur-Seine, France, and Margaret Larson, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 550 Bowsprit Lane to Antoinette Brill, of Longboat Key, for $580,200. Built in 1964, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,313 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $570,000 in 2008.

The Aquarius Club
Randall and Rebecca Craig, of Evansville, Ind., sold their Unit 3-F condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to 2432780 Ontario Inc. for $545,200. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,615 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $557,500 in 2003.

Avignon Villas
Fernando Barja Jr., of Brandon, sold his Unit 5 condominium at 5611 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Rosa Gialloreti and Steven Guglielmetti, of Sterling Heights, Mich., for $450,000. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,207 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 2001.

Sea Pines
William Sokol and Susan Chasnoff, trustees, of Lane, Ore., sold the Unit 23 condominium at 6951 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Andrew Wade, of Ontario, Canada, for $420,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,170 square feet of living area.

Longbeach on Longboat Key
David Jones and Shirley Kautman-Jones, of Davison, Mich., sold their home at 6809 Hughes St. to Longboat Village Properties LLC for $389,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,249 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $579,000 in 2005.

Seaplace
Gregory and Nancy Theobald, of Maineville, Ohio, sold their Unit G4-102-A condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Karl and Cynthia Pond, of Ponce Inlet, for $330,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,257 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 2007.

John Ringling Estates
Christopher Bene, trustee, sold the home at 831 Blvd. of the Presidents to Mary Norton, trustee, of Chicago, for $1,385,000. Built in 1949, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,478 square feet of living area.
