Two arrested for burglarizing storage facility

Two men were arrested Sunday night after stealing items from a storage facility in East County.

About 5:50 p.m., deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that two men had been seen going into the storage facility, at 3805 53rd Avenue E. 

Deputies caught the two men, who were armed, as they left the storage facility, a police report states.

The suspects had also entered several RVs in the area and attempted to steal items.

Each of the suspects face four counts of armed burglary and one county of attempted armed burglary.
