It appears the roughly $4 million Ocean Properties has invested in upgrades to the Resort at Longboat Key is already paying off.
The resort was ranked 12 on the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards list of the top 40 resorts in Florida. Readers gave the Resort at Longboat Key a score of 89 on a scale of 100.
Readers ranked the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota 28 with a score of 85.1.
