The town of Longboat Key is looking for residents from all over the Key who are interested in serving on an advisory committee that works to implement goals set from an Urban Land Institute study.

Vice Mayor David Brenner suggested a committee, which could include the six members of the ULI subcommittee that met to prepare for the panel’s visit and other participants, could help move the process along.

The Longboat Key Town Commission will meet Nov. 18, to review candidates who are interested in serving on the committee.

ULI recommendations are available on the town’s website, www.longboatkey.org/uli.

Applications must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office by noon this Thursday. All applicants must be registered Longboat Key voters. For more information, call 316-1999.
