Town to replace water meters

Potable water service meters will be replaced throughout the town beginning in August at no cost to customers. The replacement program will continue through September. Minimal service interruption will occur when the meters are changed out. A town-hired contractor will install the new meters. The contractor will have a letter from the town on him or her at all times when replacing meters in case residents want to inquire about the work being performed on their properties.
