Assistant Town Manager Anne Ross sent a letter to affected Colony Beach & Tennis Resort parties Wednesday, March 20, informing them the site needs more cleanup before hurricane season starts June 1.

The letter, which was signed by Town Manager Dave Bullock, instructs the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort Association to clean up certain parts of the property no later than April 12, or the town will begin using the Association’s $50,000 cash bond to pay to clean it up.

Building Official Wayne Thorne submitted a two-page list of resort deficiencies and a series of photographs. Problems include loose gutters, broken fences, exposed wires, and loose doors.
