Tickets available for Fish Fry, Lawn Party

Get your tickets today for the Longboat Key Historical Society’s Fish Fry and the Longboat Key Gourmet Lawn Party.
This year’s Fish Fry takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Cedars Tennis Resort, 645 Cedars Court.

Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door.

Tickets are available at various locations later this week at First Bank of Longboat Key, 5370 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Unit 101; Steff’s Stuff Antiques, which reopens Oct. 15, 5380 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Unit 101; Cedars; and Beachum’s home, 7025 Longboat Drive N. (Knock hard so she can hear you.)

The Longboat Key Kiwanis Club will present the Gourmet Lawn Party from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Resort at Longboat Key Club’s Islandside driving range, 301 Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the gate.

Raffle tickets are $100 and limited to 400. This year’s grand prize is choice of a 2013 Ford Fusion courtesy of Sarasota Ford or $10,000 cash.

Second prize is a painting of an Italian village scene by Marco Island artist Malenda Trick. Third prize is a weekend stay at the Usepa Island home of U.S. Rep. Vern and Sandy Buchanan.
