SYC donates $14,000 to Wellness Community

The Wellness Community of Southwest Florida announced a $14,000 donation from Sarasota Yacht Club.

The organizations have a long partnership history and have come together for events such as the 2009 Sarasota Yacht Club Invitational Regatta last fall, during which The Wellness Community’s patients and their families, caregivers and therapists observed races aboard a Kadey-Krogen supplied by Wellness Commity board member Charlie Ann Syprett.

The Wellness Community is a non-profit organization that provides education and support for people affected by cancer.
